Neck & Back Pain

Research shows:

“Back pain affects more than 80 percent of people and costs more than $100 billion annually in the U.S.”
-Annals of Internal Medicine

“Chiropractic significantly better at pain management than the best pain killers and acupuncture.” What they found beyond decreased pain was a increase of 47% in systemic health and well being.
-Spine 2003

Spinal adjustments is the most "cost-effective treatment for acute low back pain."
-Marc Micozzi, M.D. (July 1, 1998)

“Those that have chronic regional pain will have a 55% increase of dieing of cancer compared to control.” -Because pain uses the same neurological loops as most of the nervous system. Pain overrides the immune response.
-BMJ 09-27-2001 Mcfarland

Dr. Schotzko says:
Back pain affects over 80% of the people and I agree with that research and a HUGE reason why over 80% of the people have back pain is because chances are extremely high that no one has ever checked the health of your spine or told you that your spine needs regular maintenance or else it will break down over time. If you have back pain, chances are you've had damage in your spine and surrounding tissue for years if not decades that could have been prevented or possibly corrected a long time ago with regular check ups. Most people understand chiropractic once they talk to a chiropractor but that usually only happens once you already have pain. I'll show you how:

1. Do you get regular maintenance on your car: change the oil, rotate the tires, change the filters or replace the brakes or do you wait until your car is making a really bad noise or if it stops working before you get it checked?
2. Do you brush your teeth daily to help prevent cavaties and root canals or do you wait until your teeth really hurt and then start brushing?
3. Do you workout in the gym to stay in shape or do you wait until your out of shape and then workout until your in shape and then stop working out until your out of shape to workout again?

These same principles apply to your spine and nervous system. Most problems in health are silent just like heart disease, cancer, diabetes until enough damage builds up and causes pain or symptoms. That process takes years to accumulate damage before you know. When was your last check up?
